How to take

Adult dose

Typically, an adult dose is 3g, taken 3 times a day before meals or between meals, slowly taking small amounts while moistening the mouth or throat with lukewarm water.

Child dose

2/3 of the adult dose for ages 7–14, 1/2 of the adult dose for ages 4–6, 1/3 of the adult dose for ages 2–3, and 1/4 of the adult dose for infants under 1, to be taken 3 times a day before meals or between meals, dissolved in lukewarm water.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose, so individuals with galactose intolerance, lactose enzyme deficiency, or genetic conditions such as glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Infants under 3 months should not take this medication. Patients with hypertension, heart or kidney issues, individuals with edema, elderly patients, those taking other medications, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, individuals in poor health, those with sensitive stomachs who frequently experience diarrhea, those who have previously reacted to medications with rashes or itching, and infants under 1 year should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as reduced urination, facial and limb swelling, and elevated blood pressure occur during treatment, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Also, if symptoms such as muscle weakness, lassitude, or limb cramps arise, stop taking the medication and consult with a doctor. If symptoms like rashes, itching, dyspepsia, or diarrhea develop, discontinue use and inform a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, stop taking the medication and seek medical attention. It is advised not to take this medication for extended periods, and if prolonged use is necessary, consult with a healthcare professional. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines. Caution is needed when taken with medications containing potassium, licorice, or certain diuretics as side effects may occur. When used together with other herbal medicines, care should be taken to avoid overlapping ingredients. Children should take this medication under the guidance and supervision of an adult. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and the container should be tightly closed after use. It should be kept out of reach of children, and it is safest not to store it in a different container than its original packaging.
