Precautions

This medication may pose a risk of liver damage for individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily, so it is essential to consult with a doctor or pharmacist. The acetaminophen component can rarely cause severe skin reactions; therefore, if skin rashes or allergy symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately. The tramadol component may increase the risk of seizures if the recommended dosage is exceeded, and the risk can be heightened when used in combination with certain antidepressants or narcotics. Additionally, this medication can rarely cause serious allergic reactions, and if unusual reactions occur, immediately notify a healthcare provider. Patients with acute or severe bronchial asthma are at risk of respiratory depression, so this medication should be administered in a setting equipped with medical equipment. Co-administration with central nervous system depressants or alcohol increases the risk of sedation and respiratory depression, thus such combinations should be decided with caution. Patients with brain injury or increased intracranial pressure may see worsened symptoms when taking this medication, so care is needed. This medication may induce dependency similar to morphine; therefore, dependency should be regularly monitored for prolonged use. Patients with severely compromised liver or kidney function should consult a physician before using this medication. Particularly, this medication is not to be administered to children under 12 years old or adolescents under 18 who have undergone tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy. Patients with sleep apnea or at risk of hypoxia should continuously monitor for worsening symptoms while taking this medication. Taking this medication may cause symptoms such as drowsiness and dizziness, so caution should be exercised when driving or operating dangerous machinery. In cases of overdose, serious side effects such as respiratory depression, seizures, or liver damage may occur; thus, it is crucial to adhere to the prescribed dosage. This medication should be stored safely out of reach of children, and it is important to consult a physician regarding potential interactions when taken with other medications.
