Precautions

This medication should not be used on open wounds or mucous membranes. It should be avoided in cases of bacterial, fungal, viral infections, or infections caused by animals, as symptoms may worsen. It should not be used if there has been a prior allergy to this medication or its components. Particular caution is needed for patients with perforated tympanic membranes, as wound healing may be delayed. It should be avoided in patients with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, as skin regeneration may be inhibited and healing delayed. It is advisable not to use it in patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. Patients allergic to specific antibiotics should be cautious, as hypersensitivity reactions can occur with this medication. Women who are pregnant or potentially pregnant, nursing mothers, and children should use this medication with caution. This medication contains propylene glycol, so patients allergic to this ingredient should be careful during use. Signs of infection, irritation, or allergic reactions may appear on the skin; therefore, if adverse symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Long-term use or use over large areas can lead to steroid side effects such as skin atrophy, pigmentation changes, and acne; thus, dosage and duration should be controlled. With excessive use, systemic side effects may occur, especially when using occlusive dressings. Caution is advised when using near the eyes, as it may lead to increased intraocular pressure or ophthalmic conditions such as glaucoma; if it gets into the eyes, wash it out immediately. Long-term use of this medication may lead to renal dysfunction or hearing loss, so prolonged use is not recommended. It is essential to follow prescribed dosages and durations, and it is advised to stop using it as soon as symptoms improve. When used in children, it should be applied under parental supervision, and the risk of side effects may increase with the use of diapers due to occlusion. Avoid using occlusive dressings without a doctor's instruction after makeup or shaving. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children, as serious side effects may occur due to improper use. Use during pregnancy may affect the fetus, so it is recommended to use it for the shortest duration and on the smallest area possible. If a nursing mother uses this medication, it may affect the baby through breast milk, so careful judgment is needed. Long-term or large-scale use of this medication may exacerbate skin conditions, and it should be used strictly according to a professional's instructions.
