Long-term use of this medication may lead to renal dysfunction or hearing loss, so prolonged use is not recommended. It is essential to follow prescribed dosages and durations, and it is advised to stop using it as soon as symptoms improve. When used in children, it should be applied under parental supervision, and the risk of side effects may increase with the use of diapers due to occlusion.
