Precautions

This medication may cause liver damage, so individuals who regularly consume more than three cups of alcohol daily must consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. During treatment, skin rash or severe allergic reactions may occur, so if such symptoms arise, discontinue use immediately and visit a hospital. One of the active ingredients in this medication, tramadol, can cause seizures, therefore patients with a history of seizures or those at high risk for seizures should use it cautiously. This medication may rarely cause serious allergic reactions, so if symptoms such as difficulty breathing or hives occur, emergency treatment should be sought immediately. Patients with acute bronchial asthma or difficulty breathing need to take special care when using this medication and should use it in an environment where medical personnel are always available. Combining this medication with alcohol or central nervous system depressants can result in severe drowsiness or respiratory depression, so extreme caution is required if used together. Patients with head injuries or high intracranial pressure should be cautious when taking this medication, as respiratory depression may worsen symptoms. This medication has the potential for physical and psychological dependence, so it should be taken as directed by a physician for long-term use. Patients with poor liver function must consult a doctor before taking this medication, and the acetaminophen component may burden the liver, so the recommended dosage must not be exceeded. Depending on genetics, individuals who metabolize the active ingredient of this medication quickly may have a risk of respiratory depression, so dosage adjustments or alternative medications should be considered in such cases. This medication should not be administered to children under 12 years old or adolescents under 18 years old who have undergone tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy, and special risk factors should be avoided in adolescents between 12 and 18 years old. This medication may worsen obstructive sleep apnea or hypoxemia, so patients with such symptoms should carefully monitor any changes during treatment. Elderly patients or those at risk of hyponatremia should regularly monitor for symptoms of hyponatremia while taking this medication. In case of overdose, serious side effects such as respiratory depression, seizures, and liver damage may occur, so the recommended dosage must be strictly followed, and in cases of suspicion, immediate medical attention should be sought. This medication may cause drowsiness or dizziness when driving or operating machinery, so caution should be exercised after taking it. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a physician before using this medication, as it may affect the fetus or newborn, and it is safest to avoid taking it during breastfeeding. This medication may interact with various drugs, so individuals taking other medications must inform their healthcare provider, especially when used with antidepressants, anticonvulsants, narcotic analgesics, etc. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children, and care should be taken to prevent misuse or accidental ingestion.
