This medication is used to relieve acute and chronic pain ranging from moderate to severe.

How to take

Adult dose

Children over 12 years and adults: The dosage is adjusted according to the patient's level of pain and therapeutic response. The initial recommended dose is 2 tablets, and the subsequent dosing interval should be at least 6 hours. Do not exceed 8 tablets per day, and administer the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. Avoid prolonged use beyond what is necessary, and if prolonged use is needed, regular monitoring should be conducted.

Precautions

This medication may cause liver damage if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks each day; therefore, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist. Patients with impaired liver function should consult with a doctor before taking this medication due to the risk of liver damage from the acetaminophen component. Those with a genetic predisposition to rapid metabolism of this medication should exercise caution as the risk of severe side effects, such as respiratory depression, is elevated. This medication should not be used in children under 12 years of age or adolescents under 18 years who have undergone tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy.
