This medicine is used to treat ulcers in the stomach and duodenum and to relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is also effective for long-term maintenance therapy for gastroesophageal reflux disease and is included in the combination therapy for patients with gastrointestinal ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori to enhance treatment effectiveness. It is used to improve symptoms in cases of excessive gastric acid secretion, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Overall, this medication is effective in treating symptoms of various gastrointestinal disorders and helps maintain normal daily life.

How to take

Adult dose

Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer: 10 mg administered orally once daily, which may be increased to 20 mg once daily depending on symptoms.
