This medication is used to relieve nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tearing, sore throat, and heavy head symptoms caused by colds and allergic rhinitis, as well as sinusitis. These symptoms can cause discomfort in daily life, so this medicine can help improve them.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults (15 years and older): 1 capsule at a time, 3 times a day, taken after each meal.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months. People who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its components should avoid taking it. Individuals taking MAO inhibitors, such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, or anticholinergic agents, or those who have stopped taking them within the last 2 weeks should not take this medication. This medication contains Yellow No. 4 and Yellow No. 5 dyes, so those allergic to these components should use it with caution. It is safe not to take this medication with other oral drugs for rhinitis or cold medicines, cough medicines, anti-motion sickness medicines, and allergy medicines containing antihistamines during treatment. Individuals with allergic conditions such as hives, dermatitis, migraines, food allergies, or a history of fever, rash, arthralgia, asthma, itching, and other allergic symptoms from medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If you have hypertension, heart disease, glaucoma, urinary difficulties, thyroid disease, or diabetes, or if you are feeling weak or have a high fever, consult a professional before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a healthcare provider before taking this medication. Elderly patients also need to exercise caution. Smokers, asthma patients, those with chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or people with prolonged cough with phlegm should consult a doctor before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, severe thirst, constipation, loss of appetite, skin rash, itching, urinary difficulties, headache, facial flushing, glare, or fever arise during treatment, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a healthcare provider. Rarely, serious allergic reactions like anaphylactic shock can occur. If symptoms like hives, swelling, or difficulty breathing arise, seek emergency treatment immediately. If symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 doses, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. In children, it should not be administered to those under 2 years of age, and if necessary, a doctor's consultation is required. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and prolonged use should be avoided. When administering to children, a guardian must supervise and guide them. Since drowsiness may occur during use, it is safe to avoid driving vehicles or operating machinery. It is advisable not to consume alcohol while taking this medication. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and stored in a sealed container away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, do not transfer it to other containers.
