Short-term adjunctive treatment for weight loss in exogenous obesity
This medication is used for obese patients who do not respond to appropriate dietary or exercise regimens for weight loss. It is mainly used for patients with exogenous obesity who have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or greater, or who have risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, or hyperlipidemia with a BMI of 27 or greater. It is important to take this medication alone and not in combination with other appetite suppressants. If taken, it can help improve weight management more effectively.

Use the minimum effective dose, adjusting it individually to achieve an adequate response. A dose of 18.75 mg once daily may be appropriate for some patients, and in some cases, 18.75 mg twice daily may be preferable. Avoid taking this medicine late at night because it may cause insomnia.
