Colds often present with various symptoms making it quite uncomfortable, and this medication helps address multiple symptoms simultaneously for quicker recovery. By alleviating symptoms, it reduces discomfort in daily life and contributes to restoring health. Therefore, it is used for the relief of cold symptoms.
How to take
Adult dose
Daytime use: 2 tablets after meals twice a day. Nighttime use: 2 tablets after 6 hours have elapsed since the last dose of Sycold daytime use.
Precautions
This medication may put strain on the liver; thus, those who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a physician or pharmacist. Additionally, due to the components of this medication, serious skin reactions may rarely occur; therefore, discontinue use immediately if a rash or hypersensitivity reaction develops on the skin. Care should be taken not to exceed 4,000mg of acetaminophen per day, and it should not be taken together with other products containing acetaminophen. If severe rashes or pustules occur due to the pseudoephedrine component, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its components, a history of inducing asthma, infants under 3 months of age, and those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not take this medication. It is also recommended not to take this medication if lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders are present. During treatment, it is crucial to avoid using other cold medications, antipyretics, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. In particular, children, the elderly, individuals with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a healthcare professional before use. If rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, insomnia, or other symptoms appear during use, discontinue taking the medication immediately and seek advice from a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after using the medication 5 to 6 times, consult a physician. This medication should not be given to children under 2 years old, and if absolutely necessary, a doctor's consultation should be sought. Follow the specified dosage and administration, and avoid prolonged use. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, and be cautious as drowsiness may occur, so avoid driving or operating machinery. Lastly, store this medication out of reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. Do not transfer to another container, and take precautions to prevent misuse.
