Precautions

This medication can cause liver damage if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is necessary. The phenylephrine component included in this medication may rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if fever, rash, or small blisters develop, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medication or are hypersensitive to its components should not take this medication. People with a history of asthma attacks induced by antipyretic analgesics or cold medications should also avoid this medication. Those currently taking or recently stopping certain medications, such as antidepressants or antipsychotics, as well as individuals with peptic ulcers or severe liver, kidney, or heart diseases should not use this medication. It is advisable not to take this medication under the influence of alcohol. Do not take this medication concurrently with other products containing acetaminophen, and it should not be combined with cough suppressants, antihistamines, sleep aids, or sedatives. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machinery after consuming alcohol or if feeling drowsy, as this medication combined with alcohol or sedatives can intensify drowsiness. Individuals with certain allergic tendencies, as well as children, elderly persons, pregnant or nursing women should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication, or if unusual symptoms such as rash, nausea, swelling, dizziness, difficulty breathing, skin rash, or jaundice occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. For those taking the medication long-term, it is necessary to undergo regular blood tests and liver function tests, and if abnormalities occur, the dosage should be reduced or stopped. This medication is a pain-reliever that helps alleviate symptoms but does not treat the underlying cause, so other treatment methods should also be considered as necessary. Children and the elderly should take the minimal dose, and especially in cases of high fever, their condition should be carefully monitored after administration. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and kept out of reach of children. It is safer to store the medication in its original container and not transfer it to another container.
