This medication is used to alleviate various inflammations such as gingivitis, stomatitis, thrush, inflammation before and after tooth extraction, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and oral mucositis caused by physical factors like radiotherapy or intubation. It effectively reduces oral inflammation symptoms, helping patients maintain a comfortable daily life. It contributes to improving oral health due to these effects.

Dosage

Precautions

Individuals who regularly consume more than three cups of alcohol daily should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. There is a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding if this medication is taken by frequent drinkers. This medication contains aspartame, an artificial sweetener that breaks down into phenylalanine in the body. Therefore, patients with the genetic disorder phenylketonuria should not take this medication. The intake of aspartame should be controlled to remain below the recommended levels by the World Health Organization (WHO) and adults should be mindful not to exceed a maximum of 2.4g per day. Individuals with allergic reactions to this medication should not use it. Taking this medication may occasionally cause discomfort such as numbness or burning sensation in the mouth. Additionally, rare allergic reactions or symptoms of indigestion such as belching, nausea, and vomiting may occur. Occasionally, symptoms like sleep disturbances, hallucinations, hives, rashes, and light sensitivity may also appear, so caution is advised. When using this medication, do not swallow any remaining medication in the mouth after brushing; it must be spat out. This medication is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. This medication contains the dye Yellow No. 4, so caution should be exercised by patients who have allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient. Finally, store this medication in a safe place out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
