This medication is used for the treatment of pharyngitis, stomatitis, gum inflammation, and to relieve inflammation and pain before and after tooth extraction.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

2 to 6 times daily, 4 to 8 sprays each time.

Children's dosage

For ages 6 to under 12: 2 to 6 times daily, 4 sprays each time. For under 6: 2 to 6 times daily, 1 spray for every 4 kg of the child's weight each time, up to a maximum of 4 sprays.

Precautions

If a person regularly consumes more than three glasses of alcohol a day, they must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding when taking this drug. Prolonged use of this drug may result in hypersensitivity reactions such as allergies. If hypersensitivity is suspected, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention. Individuals allergic to this drug should not take it. While using this medication, tingling or irritation in the mouth and a burning sensation may occasionally occur. Additionally, there is a slight chance of allergic reactions, so caution is needed. Gastrointestinal symptoms like belching, nausea, and vomiting may occur. Rarely, difficulty falling asleep, visual hallucinations, hives, rashes, and sensitivity to light may occur after taking this medication. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children.
