Precautions

This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist if the patient regularly consumes more than three alcoholic beverages a day, as it may cause liver damage. Acetaminophen, which is included in this medication, can rarely cause serious skin reactions; if a rash or hypersensitivity occurs, use should be discontinued immediately. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen is 4,000 mg; together with other acetaminophen-containing products, it may lead to liver damage, so caution is required. Patients who are allergic to this medication or its components, have a history of asthma, infants under three months old, or those taking or having recently stopped taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics within the past two weeks should not use this medication. Patients with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders should also avoid this medication. During treatment, do not take cough suppressants, other cold medications, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines together with this medication. Children infected with chickenpox or influenza, individuals with specific allergic conditions, liver disease, kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, or gastrointestinal disorders should consult a specialist before use. Women who are pregnant or might become pregnant and nursing mothers should also consult a specialist before use. If rash, vomiting, dizziness, or difficulty breathing occurs during treatment, use should be discontinued immediately and a specialist consulted. Children under two years old should only be given this medication under a doctor’s supervision in special cases. Follow the prescribed usage and dosage strictly and do not use for extended periods; avoid alcohol during treatment. This medication may cause drowsiness; refrain from driving or operating machinery. Caution is required due to the risk of side effects when used in combination with certain medications.
