Used to relieve various symptoms of the cold, such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, cough, sore throat, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

For adults, take 30ml three times a day after meals at 30-minute intervals.

Precautions

This medication may place a burden on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks a day should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. The acetaminophen component contained in this medication can rarely cause serious skin reactions; if any abnormal symptoms, such as rash or itching, occur after taking it, discontinue use immediately. It is important to ensure that the daily maximum dosage of acetaminophen does not exceed 4,000mg, and it should not be taken together with other medications containing acetaminophen. Individuals allergic to this medication or its components, those with a history of asthma triggered by medications, infants under 3 months of age, and those taking certain antidepressants should not take this medication. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to use cough medicine, other cold medications, fever reducers, sedatives, or antihistamines that are also included in other products. Infants infected with chickenpox or the flu, children under 15 years of age, those with allergic constitutions or previous drug allergies, individuals with liver or kidney diseases, the elderly, and those with gastrointestinal disorders must consult a healthcare professional before use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult a doctor before taking this medication, particularly if they are receiving other treatments. If symptoms such as rash, vomiting, swelling, dizziness, insomnia, severe allergic reactions, mucosal symptoms, asthma, or liver function abnormalities occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Children under 2 years of age should generally not use this medication unless in special cases, and should always be under a doctor’s care when taking it. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and administration instructions, avoid prolonged use, and refrain from alcohol consumption during treatment. Serious side effects

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, paleness → severe allergic reactions
  • High fever with severe rash, blisters, skin peeling, pain in mucous membranes of the mouth/eyes → severe skin adverse reactions
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, respiratory issues accompanying cough + fever → respiratory problems
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), severe lethargy → liver abnormalities (jaundice)

Mild side effects

Rash, redness (flushing), itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling (edema), difficulty urinating, thirst, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)

Interactions

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with other products containing acetaminophen, cough suppressants, other cold medications, fever reducers, sedatives, or antihistamines. Consult with a doctor or pharmacist when using in conjunction with diabetes medications, gout medications, arthritis medications, anticoagulants, steroids, barbiturates, or tricyclic antidepressants.
