This medicine is used for cough accompanied by chronic cough and phlegm, and cough associated with dyspnea.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, for adults, take 1 packet (single dose) 3 times a day before meals or between meals.

Precautions

This medicine contains lactose hydrate, so it should not be taken by individuals with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Patients with hypertension, elderly individuals, those with heart or kidney issues, individuals with edema, patients on other medications, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and individuals with a weak stomach should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as decreased urination, swelling of the face and extremities, increased blood pressure, or headache indicating hyperaldosteronism occur after taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, if symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhea, skin rash, or hives appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If symptoms do not improve after about one month of use, it is advisable to stop taking it and seek consultation. When taken with potassium-containing agents or medications containing licorice, or certain diuretics, there is a risk of side effects, so caution is needed, and the prescribed dosage and frequency must be strictly followed.
