Dosage

It is recommended to take the tablets quickly with water without chewing. When taking multiple doses in a day, ensure that the dosing intervals are not less than 4 hours and not more than 6 hours. The dose is determined according to the doctor's instructions and is administered once to three times daily at a dose of 20-40 mg per kg of body weight, depending on the type of parasite being treated. 1) For liver fluke treatment: Administer 25 mg per kg of body weight three times a day for one day.

Patients with schistosomiasis may experience acute inflammatory responses or serious complications after taking this medication, so they should be observed in a hospital during treatment. Patients with severely impaired liver function may have delayed metabolism of this medication, so adverse reactions should be closely monitored. When taken with other medications, there may be interactions, particularly with anticonvulsants, antifungals, antibiotics, and steroids. It is advisable to avoid taking this medication in early pregnancy, and breastfeeding should be stopped for 72 hours after treatment if nursing. It is preferable not to use this medication in children under 4 years of age as safety has not been established.
