Summary
- Main use
- Improvement of nutritional status through amino acid supply in cases of hypoproteinemia, malnutrition, etc.
- Who uses it
- Adults · Children
- Adult dosage
- For adults, administer by intravenous infusion a total amino acid dosage of 1-1.5 g per day per kg of body weight as the maximum dose. The infusion rate is preferably a concentration of about 10 g of total amino acids over 60 minutes, and it is recommended to infuse at a rate of 80-130 drops per minute. However, the maximum daily dosage is 100 g of D-Sorbitol.
- Children's dosage
- In children, the dosage and infusion rate should be adjusted during administration.

Amino acid supply is necessary in cases of hypoproteinemia, malnutrition, and conditions such as pre- and post-surgery. Providing amino acids in such situations helps improve nutritional status, aids recovery, and promotes protein metabolism. Therefore, this medicine is used for hypoproteinemia, malnutrition, and recovery before and after surgery.
Dosage and Administration

Precautions
This medicine must be used under the direction of a physician. It should not be used in patients with hepatic coma or at risk of hepatic coma, those with severe renal impairment, and patients with certain metabolic disorders. Patients with congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema, oliguria, anuria, hypernatremia, hyperchloremia, or alkalosis should also avoid this medication. In cases where specific components are included, it should be avoided in patients with lactic acidosis, methyl alcohol poisoning, or hereditary fructose intolerance. Caution is also required for patients with heart-related diseases or those with AV block and myasthenia gravis. This medicine should be administered carefully in patients with severe acidosis, congestive heart failure, edema due to sodium retention, hyperkalemia, diabetes insipidus, liver dysfunction, and renal dysfunction. Allergic reactions or asthma attacks may occur due to components in this medication, especially in asthma patients. When using this medication, various side effects such as rash, nausea, vomiting, palpitations, and increased blood pressure may occur; therefore, it should be discontinued immediately if any abnormal symptoms appear. Rapid high-dose administration may lead to acidosis; caution is needed. Patients with reduced liver and kidney function may have elevated specific blood levels, so regular testing is necessary. To prevent electrolyte imbalance, electrolyte status should be thoroughly checked during high-dose administration, and diabetic patients should frequently monitor blood glucose levels. Interactions may occur when used with other medications, so consultation with healthcare professionals is required. Pregnant women should only use this medication under a physician's judgment since its safety has not been established. In children, liver function may be immature, thus the infusion concentration should be kept low, and blood ammonia levels should be frequently monitored. Elderly patients may have reduced physical functions, so administration should be done slowly, and dosages should be adjusted. This medication contains electrolytes and can cause side effects if infused rapidly, thus it should be slowly infused intravenously. Maintain sterile conditions during administration to reduce infection risks, and do not use if the product is discolored or damaged. While storing, keep the packaging until opened, and properly handle softbag or vial products. The patient's condition should be closely monitored throughout the administration of this medication, and immediate action should be taken in case of adverse reactions.
