This medicine is used to relieve various symptoms of a cold such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Ages 15 and above and adults: Take 2 capsules three times a day 30 minutes after a meal

Children's dosage

Ages 8 to under 15: Take 1 capsule three times a day 30 minutes after a meal

Precautions

This drug may put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. If severe rash, blisters, or red spots appear on the skin while taking this medication, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Due to the presence of acetaminophen, care must be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dosage, and it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. The pseudoephedrine component in this medication may cause serious skin reactions; therefore, if fever, erythema, or small blisters develop, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional.
