This medication is used to relieve various symptoms caused by a cold. It reduces throat pain, improves cough and phlegm, and alleviates chills and fever symptoms. It also helps reduce discomfort due to headaches, joint pain, and muscle pain, assisting the patient's recovery. It helps alleviate overall discomfort from a cold.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Ages 15 and older and adults: 2 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes after meals

Children's dosage

Ages 8 years and older to under 15 years: 1 capsule three times a day, 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients, or who have had such experiences in the past. Additionally, those who have previously experienced asthma when taking this medication, similar ingredients, or other antipyretic analgesics or cold medications should not take it. Infants under 3 months old and individuals currently taking or who have recently stopped taking specific antidepressants or antipsychotic MAO inhibitors are also advised against using this medication. During the use of this medication, do not take cough suppressants or expectorants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Before taking this medication, children who have had or are suspected of having chickenpox or flu, individuals with allergic tendencies, or those who have had allergic reactions to medications must consult a doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, caution is needed for those with diseases such as liver, kidney, heart, thyroid, diabetes, hypertension, the elderly, weak individuals, or those with high fever. Individuals with gastrointestinal issues or severe fluid loss, pregnant or nursing women, or those taking other medications should also consult a healthcare professional. Individuals with chronic cough or severe cough should consult before taking this medication. If rash, itching, nausea, gastrointestinal issues, dizziness, or insomnia occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor. Rarely, life-threatening severe allergic reactions, skin conditions, asthma, or heart-related symptoms may occur, so caution is necessary. If symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 doses, consult a doctor. This medication is generally not recommended for children under 2 years of age, and if necessary, must be prescribed by a physician. When taking this medicine, adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and duration and avoid long-term use. When given to children, the guardian must supervise them closely. It is advisable not to consume alcohol while taking this medication. This medication may temporarily increase phlegm production. Additionally, serious allergic reactions affecting the heart have been reported rarely, so caution is needed. Store this medication in a place out of reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight, and keep it sealed in a cool, dry place. Transferring to another container may pose a risk of misuse, so it must be stored in its original container.
