Ibuprofen Cold Soft Capsule

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older: 2 capsules three times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals.

Child dose

Ages 8 to under 15 years: 1 capsule three times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals.

This medication contains pseudoephedrine, which may cause severe rashes or pustular lesions on the skin; if these symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its components, those with a history of asthma, infants under 3 months of age, and those taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics should not take this medication. Patients with severe or uncontrolled hypertension should also avoid using this drug. While taking this medication, do not combine it with cough suppressants, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. In particular, children, the elderly, pregnant women, nursing mothers, and those with liver, kidney, or heart diseases should consult a physician or pharmacist before use. If unusual symptoms such as rashes, itching, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, or insomnia occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. This medication is not for use in children under 2 years of age, and use in such cases should follow a doctor's guidance. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and be cautious not to use for an extended period; avoid alcohol and refrain from operating machinery or driving due to the potential for drowsiness. This medication may temporarily increase the amount of phlegm and, in rare cases, may lead to serious cardiovascular side effects, so caution is advised. Store in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight and not transferring to another container.

Serious side effects

• Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, cold sweat, pallor, difficulty breathing (anaphylaxis symptoms)
• Severe rash with high fever, blistering, peeling skin, pain in mouth/eye mucous membranes (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, Lyell's syndrome)
• Asthma attacks
• Sudden severe headache, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances (reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome and cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome)
• Cardiovascular symptoms related to Churg-Strauss syndrome
