Relief of cold symptoms (runny nose, nasal congestion, etc.)
This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of cold such as runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.
For those 15 years and older, take 1 sachet (1,400mg) three times a day 30 minutes after meals, with a dosing interval of 4 hours.
For children aged 11 to under 15 years, take 2/3 sachet (933mg) three times a day 30 minutes after meals, with a dosing interval of 4 hours. For children aged 7 to under 11 years, take 1/2 sachet.
This medication may burden the liver, so individuals who consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily must consult a physician or pharmacist. Acetaminophen in this medication can rarely cause severe skin disorders, so if a skin rash or allergic symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen must not exceed 4,000mg, and it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing medications. Those allergic to this medication or its components, those who have had asthma triggered by such, infants under 3 months of age, and those with certain genetic disorders should not take this medication. Additionally, individuals currently taking or who have recently discontinued MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotics should avoid this medication. It is advisable not to take cough suppressants, other cold medications, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines concurrently while using this medication. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic tendencies, or those with liver or kidney diseases should consult an expert before taking this medication. Pregnant or nursing women should also consult a physician before use. If any abnormal reactions, such as rashes, itching, vomiting, dizziness, or breathing difficulties occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Children under 2 years of age should not take this medication unless under specific circumstances, and supervision by a guardian is required when administering to children. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and treatment regimen, do not use for extended periods, and avoid alcohol during use. This medication may cause drowsiness, so caution is advised for driving or operating machinery. Concurrently taking specific medications may increase the risk of side effects, so anyone taking other medications should consult a professional. When storing, keep in a place out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place. Additionally, it is important not to transfer to another container to maintain quality.
