This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension where blood pressure is not well controlled with amlodipine and valsartan combination therapy and is prescribed only when pitavastatin is also required. Amlodipine and valsartan help effectively lower blood pressure, and pitavastatin improves cholesterol and triglyceride levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. This contributes to cardiovascular health protection and prevention of complications.
