Adult dose

Aged 15 years and older: Take 1 packet (15 mL) three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.

Child dose

Aged 11 years and older but younger than 15: Take 2/3 packet (10 mL) three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating. Aged 8 years and older but younger than 11: Take 1/2 packet (7.5 mL) three times a day.

This medicine contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, which is broken down into phenylalanine in the body. Therefore, patients with the hereditary condition phenylketonuria should not take this medicine. The daily maximum allowable amount of aspartame is recommended by the WHO to be 40 mg per kg of body weight, so the minimum amount should be used when taking this medicine. For example, for a 60 kg adult, the maximum daily intake is 2.4 g. Infants under 3 months old should not take this medicine, and those who have shown allergic reactions to this medicine or its components should also avoid it. Additionally, individuals currently taking or who have stopped using MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotics within the past 2 weeks should not take this medicine. It is advisable not to take other cough suppressants, cold medicines, antihistamines, or sedatives while taking this medicine. Individuals with allergies or who have previously experienced allergy symptoms such as fever, rash, joint pain, or itching due to medication should consult with their doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Caution is also needed for those with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, high blood pressure, the elderly, people with weak bodies, or those with high fever. Pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers should consult with a specialist before taking this medicine. Patients undergoing treatment or those with specific cough symptoms should also seek advice before consumption. If rash, itching, nausea, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, or insomnia occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. It is also recommended to stop taking the medicine and get advice if symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses. Children under 2 years old should not take this medicine and should only do so after consultation with a doctor if necessary. The prescribed dosage and frequency must be strictly followed, and when administered to children, it should be done under the supervision of an adult. Additionally, alcohol should be avoided during use. This medicine should be stored in a sealed container, kept away from air and moisture, and in a cool place away from direct sunlight. It is important not to transfer it into another container to maintain its quality.
