This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of cold, including sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Persons aged 15 years and older: 2 capsules three times daily, taken 30 minutes after meals

Child dose

Children aged 8 years and older to under 15 years: 1 capsule three times daily, taken 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or its components. Additionally, individuals who have experienced asthma with this medication or similar components, or other antipyretic analgesics or cold medications should not take this medication either. This medication should not be used in babies under 3 months of age. Individuals who are currently taking or have recently discontinued (within the last 2 weeks) MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, or anti-Parkinson's medications should not take this medication. During treatment with this medication, do not use cough suppressants or expectorants, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, especially those with vomiting or behavioral changes, must consult a doctor. Individuals with a history of allergies or allergic reactions to medications must consult a healthcare professional before use. Those with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, elderly patients, or individuals with weakened bodies or high fever should also consult before use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, or those with gastrointestinal diseases or significant fluid loss from vomiting or diarrhea should consult a healthcare professional before use. Individuals taking other medications or undergoing treatment must consult a physician. Smokers or those with asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema should also check with their doctor before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pain, dizziness, or insomnia occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Severe allergic reactions or skin diseases, asthma exacerbation, or cardiac symptoms may occur rarely; if these occur, stop taking the medication immediately and consult medical personnel. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication 5-6 times, seek medical attention. This medication will not be administered to children under 2 years of age except in special cases. It is important to adhere to the prescribed dosage and not to take for extended periods. When giving this medication to children, it should be done under the supervision of a guardian. Alcohol should not be consumed while taking this medication. Taking this medication may temporarily increase the amount of phlegm, but this is a transient phenomenon. There have been reports of syndrome causing myocardial infarction associated with this medication; thus, if there are any unusual symptoms, consult healthcare personnel immediately. Store this medication out of the reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place, and in a tightly sealed container. Additionally, to maintain the quality of the medication, it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.
