How to take

Child dose

Children under 12 years may take the following recommended dosage as needed every 4 to 6 hours. This medication should be taken at the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration possible, and not exceeding 5 doses (75 mg/kg) in one day.

Precautions

This medication can place a burden on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three cups of alcohol daily should consult their doctor or pharmacist before taking it. During the use of this medication, severe skin reactions such as rashes, blisters, or red spots may occur, so if these symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. It contains acetaminophen, and exceeding the maximum daily dosage can cause liver damage, so do not take this medication with other products containing acetaminophen and adhere to the prescribed dosage. Do not take this medication if you are allergic to it or have a peptic ulcer, severe blood disorders, liver or kidney dysfunction, or heart function impairment. It is also advised that individuals with a history of aspirin-induced asthma or those currently on certain medications avoid using this medication. Those with liver or kidney issues, the elderly, individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and children under the age of two should consult healthcare professionals before taking this medication. If symptoms such as difficulty breathing, flushing, hives, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, skin rash, or other abnormal reactions appear while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If using this medication long-term, regular blood tests and liver function tests should be conducted, and appropriate action should be taken if abnormalities are found, such as reducing or discontinuing the dosage. This medication should not be used for more than 10 days (adults) or 5 days (children) if pain or fever symptoms persist, and if symptoms worsen or new symptoms arise, consult a physician or pharmacist. Avoid concomitant use with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and if infection is present, take appropriate antibiotics as prescribed by a physician. In the event of overdose, seek medical treatment immediately even if no symptoms are present, and receive treatment with liver protective medications. Store out of reach of children and keep it sealed in its original container to prevent misuse or degradation of the medication.
