Mumu Kids Cold Syrup

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and older: Take 20mL (4 packets) three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating. If necessary, take at bedtime, and the recommended dosage interval is generally 4 hours.

Child dose

Aged 11 years to less than 15 years: Take 13.3mL three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating. Aged 7 years to less than 11 years: Take 10mL three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating.

This medication may put stress on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Additionally, the acetaminophen component in this medication can rarely cause severe skin allergic reactions, so if symptoms such as rashes or itching occur, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. When taking this medication, be careful not to exceed the maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen, which is 4,000mg, and do not take it in conjunction with other products containing acetaminophen. Individuals who have allergies to this medication or its components, who have a history of asthma, infants less than three months old, or those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not take this medication. During treatment, it is advisable not to take cough medicine, other cold medications, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines together with this medication. Particularly, children suspected of having or having chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic predispositions, those with major organ diseases such as liver or kidney disorders, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, nausea, dizziness, or difficulty breathing occur after taking the medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist, and if symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, seek professional medical attention. Children under 2 years old should generally not use this medication except in special circumstances. When taking this medication, follow the prescribed usage and dosage strictly, avoid long-term use, and supervision by a guardian is required when administering to children. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, and be aware that it may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery. Caution is necessary when taking this medication along with certain antidepressants or antibiotics, and if unusual symptoms are suspected, discontinue use immediately. Lastly, store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry, airtight container to maintain its quality. Moreover, do not transfer it to another container for quality maintenance.

Serious side effects

• Hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor (symptoms of anaphylactic shock)
• Severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, mouth/eye mucous membrane pain (Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis)
• Respiratory abnormalities such as asthma, difficulty breathing, cough, fever
• Jaundice of the skin or eyes, generalized lethargy (liver dysfunction)
• Severe headache, seizures, confusion, visual disturbances, paralysis (neurological)
