Precautions

This medicine may cause liver damage if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages per day, so it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Individuals who have experienced hypersensitivity reactions to this medicine or have had asthma attacks when taking this medicine, its components, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or cold medications should not take it. Patients with peptic ulcers, severe blood disorders, liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, or heart dysfunction should also refrain from using this medicine. Patients currently taking barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, those consuming alcohol, and individuals with lactose intolerance or certain genetic issues should not use this medicine. This medicine contains acetaminophen; therefore, it should not be combined with other acetaminophen products to avoid liver damage. Individuals with liver dysfunction, kidney dysfunction, peptic ulcers, blood disorders, tendency to bleed, heart dysfunction, hypersensitivity reactions, bronchial asthma, elderly individuals, pregnant or breastfeeding women, long-term users of warfarin, or those taking lithium or thiazide diuretics should consult a healthcare professional before use. People allergic to Tartrazine (Yellow No. 4), which is included in this medicine, should use it with caution. If symptoms such as shock, anaphylaxis, asthma attacks, thrombocytopenia, hypersensitivity reactions, severe gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers, severe skin reactions, liver dysfunction, interstitial pneumonia, acute pancreatitis, or nephrotoxicity occur during use, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. For long-term use, regular clinical examinations should be conducted, and if abnormalities are detected, action should be taken to reduce or discontinue the dosage, and it is advisable not to take it with other anti-inflammatory pain relievers. Do not take for more than 10 days for pain, or more than 3 days for fever, and if symptoms persist or worsen, consult a healthcare professional. This medicine may mask symptoms of infections; therefore, it should be used with appropriate antibacterial agents if an infection is present. Caution should be exercised when taken with barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol, as it may slow down acetaminophen metabolism and increase liver toxicity. If an overdose occurs, seek medical attention promptly even if symptoms are absent, as treatment may be needed to protect the liver. Its safety during pregnancy has not been established, so it should only be used when the benefits outweigh the risks, particularly in late pregnancy as it may affect the fetus. Safety has not been sufficiently confirmed in children; therefore, it should be used cautiously. This medicine should be stored out of reach of children, kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Also, transferring the medicine from its original container to another container may cause misuse or quality degradation, so it should always be stored in its original container.
