This medication is used to relieve various symptoms caused by a cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, and phlegm. It is also effective for body ache symptoms such as chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain. Taking this medicine can reduce uncomfortable cold symptoms and assist with daily activities. It is used to improve multiple symptoms simultaneously to aid in quick recovery from a cold.
Ages 15 and above: take 1 packet (20 mL) 3 times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating. Generally, maintain a dosage interval of 4 hours.
Ages 11 to under 15: take 2/3 packet 3 times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating. Ages 7 to under 11: take 1/2 packet 3 times a day after meals, 30 minutes after eating. Ages 3 and above ∼
This medicine can put a strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day should definitely consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. One of the ingredients in this medication, acetaminophen, can rarely cause severe allergic reactions on the skin, so if a rash or hypersensitivity reaction occurs, stop taking it immediately. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen is 4,000mg, and taking other acetaminophen-containing products simultaneously may lead to liver damage, so caution is advised. People who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients, those who have a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, and those currently taking or have recently discontinued specific antidepressants or antipsychotics should not take this medication. It is also safe to avoid taking cough and phlegm medications, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, and antihistamines while using this medication. Infants infected with chickenpox or influenza, children under 15 years old, those with allergic tendencies, those with previous drug allergy experiences, those with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, the elderly, and pregnant or nursing women must consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If any abnormal symptoms like rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness, anxiety, or insomnia occur after taking this, stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. In severe cases, symptoms such as shock, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, asthma attacks, liver dysfunction, and pneumonia may occur, requiring urgent action. This medication should not be administered to children under 2 years old unless in special cases, and supervision by a guardian is necessary when administering to children. Adhere to the prescribed method and dosage, avoid prolonged use, and refrain from alcohol consumption while taking this medication. Since drowsiness may occur, it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery, and be cautious as the risk of side effects may increase when taken with certain medications.
