How to take

Adult dose

Adults (ages 15 and above): 2 capsules at a time Take 3 times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Child dose

Children (ages 8 to under 15): 1 capsule at a time Take 3 times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication may put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Additionally, if any unusual symptoms such as rashes, itching, or red spots appear during the use of this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and a professional should be consulted. It contains acetaminophen, so care should be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose, and it should not be taken with other products containing acetaminophen. Individuals who have allergic reactions to this medication or have experienced asthma attacks, infants under three months of age, and those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not take this medication. Moreover, it should not be taken with cough suppressants, other cold medications, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children infected with chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic conditions, and individuals with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women, should consult a professional before taking this medication. Children under two years old should not take this medication except in special cases, and the prescribed dosage and administration should be strictly followed. Long-term use should be avoided, and alcohol should be abstained from during use, as drowsiness may occur, necessitating caution while driving or operating machinery. Finally, when taking this drug along with certain diuretics or medications containing licorice, there may be side effects such as muscle weakness or increased blood pressure, so caution is required. Store this medication in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture, in a sealed container, and keep it out of reach of children.

Serious side effects

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor
  • Severe rash with high fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in mouth/eye mucosa
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, cough with fever accompanying respiratory abnormalities
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy
  • Sudden and very severe headaches, thunderclap headache, seizures, confusion, vision changes, paralysis
  • Significant decrease in urine output

Mild side effects

Rash, redness, itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, urinary difficulties, persistent or severe dryness, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)
