How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 1 tablet once daily.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, kidney diseases, allergies to any of the ingredients, children under 12 months, patients with kidney stones, or patients with severe renal failure. During treatment, it is advisable not to take certain medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline products, or antacids concurrently with this medication. Additionally, high doses of vitamin B12 may cause hematologic reactions, and excessive use can lead to gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, heart failure, and edema. Long-term use may result in hypercalcemia or nephrolithiasis, so caution is advised, and there is a risk of hyperkalemia when taken with certain diuretics. It is important to adhere to the dosage guidelines and to avoid drinks containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking this medication. Store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a sealed container in a cool, dry place.
