This medication helps relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tearing, sore throat, and heaviness in the head caused by a common cold, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. It is effective for improving symptoms when these discomforts arise.

How to take

Adult dose

For individuals aged 15 years and older and adults: 1 capsule per dose, taken three times a day after meals, with a minimum interval of 4 hours between doses.

Precautions

This medication contains pseudoephedrine, which can lead to serious skin adverse reactions such as acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis. If fever, skin rash, or small pustules develop, stop taking this medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months old, children under 15 years old, individuals allergic to this medication or its components, those currently taking or who recently stopped taking certain antidepressants or antipsychotics, patients with uncontrolled hypertension, or those with severe kidney disease. Furthermore, it should not be taken with other oral medications for rhinitis, antihistamines, cold medicines, cough medicines, motion sickness medications, or allergy medications. Individuals with specific constitution or allergy history, hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, fever, elderly individuals, or those receiving medical treatment should consult a specialist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as hemorrhagic stroke, nausea, vomiting, severe headache, rash, itching, difficulty urinating, or cardiac abnormalities occur while taking this medication, stop taking it and consult a specialist immediately. Rarely, severe symptoms such as anaphylactic shock, increased blood pressure and edema, muscle weakness, severe headache, and vision disturbances may occur, so caution is needed. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosages and should not be taken for extended periods, as it may cause drowsiness; hence, avoid driving or operating machinery. Alcohol should be avoided while taking this medication, and children under 2 years old should not take it except in special cases. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool place with low humidity, and it should not be transferred to another container.
