This medication is used to relieve symptoms of cough and phlegm.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and above: Take 2 capsules 3 times a day after meals.

Child dose

Aged 8 years and above but under 15: Take 1 capsule 3 times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. It should also not be administered to infants under 3 months of age. People who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or its ingredients should not take it. Individuals who are currently taking or have recently discontinued MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants or antipsychotics within the last two weeks should not use this medication. Additionally, since it contains lactose, patients with lactose intolerance or related genetic issues should not take this medication. While taking this medication, it is advisable not to take other cough medications, cold medicines, antihistamines, or sedatives together. Those with a history of allergic reactions or previous allergy symptoms from medications must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this drug. It is also necessary to consult a specialist if there are conditions such as liver, kidney, heart, thyroid diseases, diabetes, hypertension, glaucoma, or urinary difficulties. Similarly, pregnant or breastfeeding women, the elderly, or individuals with weak constitutions should also seek advice. Consultation is also required for smokers or those whose cough persists due to asthma or chronic bronchitis before use. If symptoms such as rashes, itching, vomiting, dizziness, urinary difficulties, severe thirst, anxiety, tremors, or insomnia occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Also, if symptoms do not improve after 5 to 6 doses, stop taking and consult a physician. Children under 2 years of age should not take this medication except in special cases, and if necessary, a doctor's consultation is mandatory. For children under 7 years, using syrup instead of this medication is recommended.
