Wincold Cough Soft Capsule

Adult dose

Aged 15 years and older: 3 times a day, 2 capsules each time, 30 minutes after meals

Child dose

Aged 8 to under 15 years: 3 times a day, 1 capsule each time, 30 minutes after meals

This medication may burden the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If serious skin rash, blisters, or itching occurs during this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional. As it contains acetaminophen, be cautious not to exceed the maximum daily dosage of 4,000 mg and avoid taking it with other acetaminophen-containing medications. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients, those who have a history of asthma, infants under 3 months old, and those taking specific antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not take this medication. It is safe not to take it alongside cough suppressants, expectorants, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children with chickenpox or suspected flu, those with allergic predispositions or chronic diseases involving the liver, kidneys, heart, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a specialist before use. If any abnormal symptoms such as rash, vomiting, dizziness, insomnia, respiratory distress, severe blisters on the skin, or jaundice appear during use, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare provider. Children under 2 years old should generally not take this medication unless in special circumstances and should administer it under parental supervision. Follow the prescribed method of administration and dosage, and avoid long-term use. Alcohol consumption should be avoided. Caution is necessary when co-administering this medication with specific antidepressants or antibiotics as side effects may occur; discontinue use immediately if abnormal symptoms are suspected. Store in a tightly closed container to prevent air or moisture ingress, and keep at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C, away from excessive heat or cold.

Serious side effects

• Hives, severe swelling, chest tightness, cold sweat, pallor → severe allergic reaction
• High fever accompanied by severe rash, blisters, peeling skin, pain in the mouth/eyes mucosa → severe skin adverse reaction
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, asthma attacks, cough + fever accompanied respiratory issues → respiratory problems
• Skin or eyes turning yellow (jaundice), profound malaise → liver abnormalities (jaundice)

Mild side effects

Rash, redness (hyperemia), itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, High Anion Gap Metabolic Acidosis (HAGMA)

This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container to prevent air or moisture ingress. Additionally, it is safe to store at room temperature between 1°C and 30°C, away from excessive heat or cold.
