This medication is used to relieve various cold symptoms, such as sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

For ages 15 and above: 1 sachet (20 mL) taken three times daily after meals, 30 minutes post-meal. The dosing interval is to be every 4 hours.

Child dose

For ages 11 to under 15 years: 2/3 sachet taken three times daily after meals, 30 minutes post-meal. For ages 7 to under 11 years: 1/2 sachet taken three times daily after meals, 30 minutes post-meal. For ages 3 and above ∼

Precautions

This medication can put a strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three drinks a day should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication or other antipyretic analgesics. During the use of this medication, severe skin reactions may occur, such as rashes, blisters, and red spots, so if such symptoms occur, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. This medication contains acetaminophen, and care should be taken not to exceed a maximum of 4,000mg per day, and it should not be taken in conjunction with other products containing acetaminophen. Individuals with allergies to this medication or its ingredients, or those who have previously experienced asthma, infants younger than 3 months of age, and those currently taking or who have discontinued certain antidepressants or antipsychotic medications within the past 2 weeks should not take this medication. While taking this medication, it is best not to take cough or expectorant medications, other cold medicines, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. In particular, children who have had or are suspected to have chickenpox or influenza, individuals with allergic constitutions or conditions affecting the liver, kidneys, heart, or thyroid, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should definitely consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rashes, itching, vomiting, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, or insomnia occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. It is advised that children under the age of 2 should not take this medication, and if it is absolutely necessary, a doctor's consultation must be obtained. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration of use when taking, and supervise children during use. Avoid alcohol while taking this medication, and special care is needed when using it in conjunction with certain other medications that may affect the metabolism of acetaminophen. Taking this medication with certain antibiotics can rarely lead to serious metabolic acidosis, so if any abnormal symptoms occur, consult a professional immediately. Mild side effects

Rash, redness [congestion leading to redness], itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling [edema], dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)
