How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 years and older: take 1 packet (20 mL) three times a day 30 minutes after a meal. The dosing interval is 4 hours.

Precautions

This medication may put strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Rash, redness [hyperemia], itching, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, edema [swelling], urination difficulty, thirst, dizziness, anxiety, tremors, insomnia, high anion-gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA)
