Relief of symptoms of cold (sore throat, cough, etc.)
This medication is used for alleviating various symptoms of cold, including sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.
For ages 15 and above: take 1 packet (20 mL) three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after each meal. The dosing interval should be every 4 hours.
For ages 11 to under 15 years: take 2/3 packet three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after each meal. For ages 7 to under 11 years: take 1/2 packet three times a day after meals, 30 minutes after each meal. For ages 3 and above ∼
This medication may pose a risk of liver damage if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day; therefore, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. The acetaminophen component in this medication can, in rare cases, cause severe skin reactions, so if you experience a rash or allergic reaction after taking it, you should immediately stop taking it. The maximum daily dose of acetaminophen is 4,000 mg, and taking this medicine in conjunction with other medications containing acetaminophen can lead to liver damage, so caution is advised. Persons who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or who have experienced asthma, infants under 3 months of age, and those taking certain antidepressants such as MAO inhibitors should not take this medication. It is advisable not to take coughing or phlegm medications, other cold medicines, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines while taking this medication. Infants infected with chickenpox or influenza, children under 15, individuals with allergic tendencies, and those with chronic diseases such as liver, kidney, or heart conditions should consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, or anxiety occur during use, it is crucial to stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional; in severe cases, this may indicate shock or serious skin disorders that require immediate attention. Children under 2 years of age should not take this medication; if necessary, they should receive medical supervision. This medication should be taken according to the prescribed dosages and should not be used for prolonged periods. When administered to children, it should be done under the supervision of a guardian, and alcohol should be avoided during the treatment. Taking this medication with certain drugs may delay the metabolism of acetaminophen and increase the risk of side effects, so inform a professional if you are taking other medications. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool and dry place. Additionally, to maintain its quality, do not transfer it to other containers.
