Adult dose
1) Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer: Normally, adults take 10/700 mg orally once a day. Depending on symptoms, 20/700 mg may be taken orally once daily. Typically, treatment lasts up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. 2) Erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: 10/700 mg or 20/700 mg is taken orally once a day for 4 to 8 weeks. If symptoms persist after 8 weeks of treatment, an additional 8 weeks of 10/700 mg or 20/700 mg may be administered orally twice daily, but this is only for patients with confirmed severe mucosal damage. 3) Symptom relief for gastroesophageal reflux disease: 10/700 mg is administered once a day. If symptoms are not controlled after 4 weeks of treatment, further evaluation is necessary. After symptoms resolve, on-demand therapy with 10/700 mg once a day may be used to control any recurrence of symptoms. 4) Long-term maintenance therapy for gastroesophageal reflux disease: Depending on the patient, 10/700 mg or 20/700 mg is taken orally once daily. 2. Patients with liver disease: Adverse reactions of hepatic encephalopathy have been reported in patients with cirrhosis. Therefore, it should be administered cautiously. 3. Patients with kidney disease: The safety and efficacy for patients with kidney disease have not been established. Caution is advised due to a lack of experience using this medication in this population. 4. Elderly: Special caution should be taken as many elderly patients may have impaired liver function. 5. Children: Safety for children has not been established.

This medication is used to treat gastric ulcers and duodenal ulcers, and it is also effective in alleviating symptoms of erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease. Additionally, it is utilized for long-term maintenance therapy of gastroesophageal reflux disease to prevent recurrence of symptoms. Therefore, it is used to improve symptoms of various gastrointestinal disorders.

How to take
