This medicine helps relieve various symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain associated with a cold. In other words, it is used to effectively improve cold symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

For ages 15 and over, take 1 pouch (20 mL) three times a day after meals for 30 minutes.

Child dose

For ages 11 to 15 years, take 2/3 pouch three times a day after meals for 30 minutes. For ages 7 to 11 years, take 1/2 pouch three times a day after meals for 30 minutes. For ages 3 and up ∼

Precautions

This medication may put strain on the liver, so anyone who regularly consumes more than three drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. One of the ingredients in this medication, acetaminophen, can rarely cause serious skin reactions, so if a rash or other allergic symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately. Care should be taken not to exceed a maximum of 4,000 mg of acetaminophen per day, and it should not be taken with other acetaminophen-containing products. Due to the pseudoephedrine component in this medication, serious skin reactions may occur; therefore, if fever or skin abnormalities develop, discontinue use and consult a professional. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medication or have experienced asthma attacks should not take it, and infants under 3 months old should also not take it. Patients who are currently taking or have recently stopped taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, those with severe or uncontrolled hypertension, or patients with severely impaired kidney function should also avoid this medication. During use, it is advisable not to take other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Children, especially those under 15 years old, should consult a professional before taking it if they have chickenpox or the flu, and those with allergic tendencies or certain diseases should also seek consultation before taking it. If symptoms such as rash, itchiness, vomiting, dizziness, or shortness of breath occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Children under 2 years of age should generally not take this medication unless absolutely necessary, in which case they must consult a doctor. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency when taking this medication, avoid long-term use, refrain from alcohol, and be aware that drowsiness may occur, so driving or operating machinery should be avoided. This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place, and it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.

  • Yellowing of skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme lethargy → liver dysfunction
