Adult dose

Generally, adults take 1 packet (single dose) 3 times a day before or between meals.

This drug should be consulted with a specialist before taking for people with weakened physical strength after illness or with hypertension, heart, or kidney diseases. Especially in the elderly, care is needed as the body function is diminished, and dosage reduction may be necessary. Individuals with edema or those who have previously experienced skin rash or itching due to medication should also consult a specialist. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, individuals with a weak stomach or who sweat a lot, and patients with hyperthyroidism also need to consult before taking this medication. Diabetic patients should be cautious as blood sugar may rise. While taking this medication, if symptoms such as swelling of the face and limbs, increased blood pressure, muscle weakness or cramps, skin rash, indigestion, liver function abnormalities, cough and shortness of breath, urinary disturbances, insomnia appear, one should stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a specialist. If symptoms do not improve for more than 1 month, it is advisable to stop taking the drug and consult. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and method, and supervision is necessary when giving it to children. Caution is required when taking it with other medications or herbal medicines because interactions may cause side effects. Especially when taken with diuretics, Mahwang, or thyroid preparations, dosage adjustment may be necessary as symptoms may worsen. This medication should be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture, ensuring it is kept out of reach of children. It should also be stored in its original container to prevent misuse or quality deterioration.

Serious side effects

Swelling, increase in blood pressure, decrease in urine volume, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or the whites of the eyes), malaise due to liver dysfunction, cough and shortness of breath due to interstitial pneumonia, difficulty breathing, fever, hyperaldosteronism, myopathy (muscle disease), urinary disturbances
