Adult dose

This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame, which is broken down into phenylalanine in the body. Therefore, patients with the genetic disorder known as phenylketonuria should not take this medication. The maximum daily allowable amount of aspartame should be controlled to not exceed the WHO recommended level of 40mg per kg of body weight, which usually allows a maximum of 2.4g to be taken by a typical 60kg adult per day. Infants under three months of age, individuals allergic to this medication or its ingredients, and those currently taking or have recently discontinued specific antidepressants or antipsychotics should not take this medication. It is safe not to take other cough medications, cold remedies, antihistamines, or sedatives during the use of this medication. Individuals with allergic dispositions or those who have experienced allergic symptoms from medications in the past, individuals with chronic diseases such as liver, kidney, heart disorders, diabetes, hypertension, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, nursing mothers, and individuals with specific cough symptoms must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If rashes, vomiting, dizziness, insomnia, or other side effects occur during the use of this medication, or if symptoms do not improve after taking it 5-6 times, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Children under the age of two are generally advised not to take this medication, but if necessary, a doctor's consultation is required. When taking this medication, it is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines, and supervision from a guardian is required when given to children. Additionally, alcohol should be avoided while taking this medication. This medication should be stored in a tightly closed container, kept away from direct sunlight, and stored in a cool, dry place. For quality maintenance, it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.
