Precautions

This medicine can lower blood pressure when taken with nitrate compounds or NO donors, so be sure to check if you are taking such medications before using this medicine. Patients with cardiovascular diseases should carefully examine their heart condition before using this medicine. It is advisable not to use this medicine for patients at risk to the heart. This medicine can temporarily lower blood pressure by dilating blood vessels, so patients with cardiovascular disease or those who may strain their heart during sexual activity should take caution. If an erection lasts for more than 4 hours continuously, medical attention should be sought immediately, as untreated cases may lead to penile tissue damage or loss of erectile ability. Patients with specific heart conditions or those with compromised blood pressure control may be sensitive to this medicine, so caution is needed. Patients taking protease inhibitors such as ritonavir may have a very high blood concentration of this medicine, which requires dosage adjustment. Patients with allergies to this medicine or its components, or who regularly take nitrate compounds should not use this medicine. Patients who have had serious cardiovascular events, such as recent myocardial infarction or stroke, and those with severe liver failure or uncontrolled blood pressure abnormalities should also not take this medicine. This medicine is not for use in children under the age of 18 or women. During treatment with this medicine, visual disturbances or dizziness may occur while driving or operating machinery, so caution is advised. There is a risk of sudden drops in blood pressure when used in combination with alpha-blockers, so dosage adjustments may be necessary when taking together with an interval between doses. This medicine is safely not used in conjunction with other erectile dysfunction treatments. During treatment with this medicine, severe headaches, flushing, dyspepsia, visual disturbances, dizziness, and other symptoms may occur, and if these symptoms are severe, consultation with a physician should be sought. If sudden vision loss or hearing reduction occurs, stop taking this medicine immediately and seek medical attention. In the case of overdose, symptoms may worsen, and since there is no specific antidote, appropriate treatment should be provided according to the symptoms. This medicine should be stored out of the reach of children, and it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.
