This medication is used to relieve various symptoms caused by colds such as sore throat, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Adults (age 15 and older): 1 sachet per dose, to be taken three times a day after meals, 30 minutes post-consumption.

Children's dosage

Serious side effects

  • Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, pallor → shock (anaphylaxis) symptoms
  • Severe rash, blisters, skin peeling, pain in mouth/eye mucous membranes with high fever → Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, cough + fever indicating respiratory distress → interstitial pneumonia
  • Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), extreme fatigue → liver dysfunction
  • Asthma exacerbations

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, swelling, dizziness, high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA), rash, redness, itching
