How to take

Adult dose

For ages 15 and older: Take 1 tablet three times a day, 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication may cause liver damage if taken by individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day; therefore, it is essential to consult a physician or pharmacist. The acetaminophen component of this medication can rarely cause serious skin conditions, so if rashes or hypersensitivity symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately. Care must be taken not to exceed the maximum daily dose of acetaminophen, which is 4,000 mg, and do not take with other products containing acetaminophen. The pseudoephedrine in this medication can rarely cause severe skin reactions, so if symptoms like fever, red spots, or blisters occur, stop taking it and consult a professional. This medication should not be taken by individuals with a history of certain allergies, infants under 3 months of age, or individuals with severe hypertension or serious kidney disease. Additionally, it should not be taken by individuals currently using certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications. While taking this medication, it is safer not to use cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines together. Children suspected to have chickenpox or influenza, individuals with a history of allergies, liver, kidney, or heart diseases, seniors, pregnant or nursing women should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking it. If symptoms like rashes, vomiting, dizziness, insomnia, severe allergic reactions, or symptoms of liver dysfunction occur during use, discontinue taking and consult a professional immediately. This medication should not be given to children under 2 years of age; if necessary, a doctor's consultation is required. Strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration of use and avoid long-term use; refrain from drinking alcohol during use. Furthermore, be cautious as drowsiness may occur, and take care while driving or operating machinery. If this medication is taken with a specific antibiotic, flucloxacillin, there is a rare risk of severe metabolic acidosis occurring, so caution is warranted, and if abnormal symptoms are suspected, discontinue taking it. Store in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and do not transfer to another container.

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with any oral medicine containing cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Avoid taking if currently on MAO inhibitors or within two weeks of stopping them.
