This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of cold, including sore throat, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older and adults: 1 tablet taken three times a day, 30 minutes after meals

Precautions

This medication may put a strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks a day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. The acetaminophen component in this medication can, though very rarely, cause serious skin reactions; if any rash or allergy symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. The maximum allowable daily dosage of acetaminophen is 4,000mg, and care should be taken to ensure that the total dosage of all acetaminophen products taken, including this medication, does not exceed this limit. Those with hypersensitivity to this medication, a history of asthma, infants under 3 months, or those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications should not take this medication. This medication should also not be taken by individuals with lactose intolerance or genetic metabolic disorders. During the use of this medication, it is advisable not to take cough medicines, other cold medicines, pain relievers, sedatives, and antihistamines together. Particularly, children with chickenpox or influenza, those with allergies, or with liver, kidney, or heart diseases, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women should definitely consult a professional before taking this medication. If abnormal symptoms such as rash, itching, vomiting, dizziness occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a healthcare provider. Children under the age of 2 years should not take this medication without a doctor's guidance, and only under the guidance of a professional should it be taken if necessary. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration, avoid prolonged use, and refrain from alcohol consumption during the course of treatment.
