This medication helps effectively relieve allergy symptoms in patients with asthma and perennial allergic rhinitis. It is used for alleviating discomfort experienced due to asthma and rhinitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older take 1 tablet once daily in the evening by mouth.

Precautions

This medication is used for the treatment of asthma and allergic rhinitis. During treatment, psychiatric symptoms may occur, so patients and caregivers should closely monitor for changes such as agitation, anxiety, depression, hallucinations, and suicidal thoughts. If such symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Patients with hypersensitivity to this medication, renal failure, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not take it. Also, patients with hereditary lactose intolerance should avoid this medication. Patients with impaired kidney or liver function, as well as the elderly, should use caution when taking this medication. During treatment, various side effects may occur, including upper respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disturbances, headache, drowsiness, and skin rashes. This medication is not intended for the treatment of acute asthma attacks; emergency medications should be used during acute symptoms. Caution is needed while driving or operating machinery as drowsiness or fatigue may occur. Taking this medication with alcohol or central nervous system depressants may increase drowsiness, so it is advisable to avoid them. This medication does not have significant interactions with other drugs but caution is required with some hepatic metabolism drugs. It should only be used during pregnancy if necessary, and it is safe to avoid during breastfeeding. Safety in children under 15 years has not been established. In cases of overdose, there is no specific antidote, so symptomatic treatment should be received according to the doctor’s instructions. This medication is sensitive to light, so do not open the package until ready for use and store out of reach of children.
