This medicine helps relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and heaviness in the head caused by colds or allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. Patients can enjoy a more comfortable daily life through this symptom relief. It is primarily used for symptoms of acute rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, or sinusitis.

Dosage and Administration

Children's dosage

For children aged 2 to under 12 years, 1 spray into each nostril is to be administered 3 times a day within a range of once per application. The interval between applications should be at least 8 hours.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used by infants or newborns under 2 years of age. People allergic to this medicine or its ingredients, or who have had allergic reactions should not use it. People taking MAO inhibitors, including antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and anti-Parkinson's medications, or those who have stopped using them within the last two weeks should not use this medicine. Patients who have had surgery exposing the cranial meninges or pituitary gland should also avoid using it. Individuals with angle-closure glaucoma are prohibited from using this medicine. Patients with dry rhinitis or atrophic rhinitis, where the nasal mucosa is dry or atrophied, should not use it. Patients with a pheochromocytoma or benign prostatic hyperplasia should not use this medicine. This medicine contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, so patients who have allergies or hypersensitivity to this ingredient should use it carefully. Those with allergic constitutions, such as hives, contact dermatitis, migraines, or food allergies, should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Individuals who have experienced allergic symptoms with nasal spray medications in the past should consult a specialist before using this medicine. Patients with high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid disorders, or glaucoma must consult a doctor before using this medicine. Patients taking tricyclic or tetracyclic antidepressants should also exercise caution. Symptoms such as insomnia, dizziness, tremors, heart arrhythmia, or increased blood pressure may occur, so sensitive individuals should be cautious when using this medicine. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a doctor before use. Breastfeeding women should use this medicine only under the guidance of a healthcare professional, as it is uncertain whether it passes into breast milk. Patients undergoing treatment should consult healthcare professionals before using this medicine. If there is smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, cough with excessive phlegm, cough lasting more than one week or repeating, fever, rash, or persistent headache, one should consult a doctor before using this medicine. If symptoms such as rash, redness, swelling, irritation, or itching occur during use, stop using it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms do not improve after three days of use, discontinue use and consult a doctor. If rare brain-related symptoms such as severe headache, nausea, vomiting, or visual disturbances occur, stop using immediately and consult healthcare professionals. The prescribed dosage and administration must always be followed. Excessive use may worsen nasal congestion, so caution is advised. This medicine is for nasal use only and should not be used in the eyes or ears. To prevent contamination, it is recommended not to share with others. Do not use continuously for more than seven days. It is advisable to avoid alcohol during use. When used in children, supervision and guidance by an adult is necessary. Contains benzalkonium chloride, which may cause bronchospasm, and prolonged use may cause irritation or swelling of the nasal mucosa. Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, do not transfer to another container, and prevent misuse.
