Precautions

This medication can put strain on the liver, so individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. The acetaminophen component in this medication can rarely cause serious skin allergic reactions, so if symptoms like rash or itching appear, stop taking it immediately. The maximum daily dosage of acetaminophen is 4,000mg, and taking this drug with other products containing acetaminophen increases the risk of liver damage. Additionally, as this medication contains pseudoephedrine, it may cause severe rash or pustules on the skin, so if fever or erythema, or small blisters appear, stop taking it and consult an expert. This medication should not be taken by individuals with specific allergic reactions or a history of asthma, infants under 3 months of age, those taking certain antidepressants or psychiatric medications, or those with severe hypertension or kidney disease. During treatment, it is advisable not to take it with other cold medications, analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines. Especially children with chickenpox or influenza, or minors under 15 years should consult with a doctor before taking this medication, and consultation is also necessary in cases of specific cough symptoms or allergic constitution. If any unusual symptoms such as rash, itching, nausea, dizziness, or insomnia appear after taking it, stop taking it immediately and consult with medical staff, and be cautious of severe allergic reactions or symptoms of liver dysfunction. Children under 2 years old should not use this medication except in special cases. When taking, strictly adhere to the prescribed method and dosage, avoid long-term use, refrain from alcohol consumption as drowsiness may occur, and avoid driving or operating machinery. Furthermore, special attention is needed when taking this medication along with certain antibiotics or specific medications, so consult with medical staff. When storing, keep in a cool, dry place out of reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight and should not be transferred to other containers.
