This medication is used to effectively relieve various symptoms of a cold, including sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

15 years and older adults: Take 2 capsules three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Child dose

Children over 7 years to under 15 years: Take 1 capsule three times a day, 30 minutes after meals.

Precautions

This medication can put a strain on the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages daily should consult their doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Due to the presence of acetaminophen, serious skin rashes or allergic reactions may rarely occur, so if abnormal symptoms such as rashes or itching develop after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately. Care should be taken not to exceed the daily maximum dosage of acetaminophen, which is 4,000mg, and it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen. Those allergic to this medication or its components, those with a history of inducing asthma, infants under 3 months old, and those taking specific antidepressants or antipsychotics should not take this medication. During treatment, it is recommended not to take cough suppressants, other cold medications, antipyretic analgesics, sedatives, or antihistamines concurrently. Children with or suspected of having chickenpox or influenza, those with allergic dispositions or multiple illnesses such as liver, kidney, or heart disease, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as rashes, vomiting, dizziness, or respiratory difficulties occur during use, discontinue the medication immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. In general, children under 2 years old should not take this medication unless specified otherwise. When taking, adhere strictly to the prescribed usage and dosage, be careful not to use it for an extended period, and supervision by an adult is necessary when children are taking it. Alcohol should be avoided, and caution is required as the risk of side effects may increase when taken with certain medications.
