This medication is used to relieve various symptoms of a cold, including runny nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, phlegm, chills, fever, headache, joint pain, and muscle pain.

How to take

Adult dose

Ages 15 and older: 1 pouch per dose, taken three times daily after meals or at bedtime. The dosing interval should be at least 4 hours.

Child dose

Ages 11 to under 15: 2/3 pouch per dose, Ages 7 to under 11: 1/2 pouch per dose, Ages 3 to under 7: 1/3 pouch per dose, Ages 2 to under 3: 1/4 pouch per dose, not to be administered to children under 2 years of age except when absolutely necessary with a doctor's guidance.

Precautions

This medication may affect the liver, so those who regularly consume more than three drinks per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. The ingredients in this medication can rarely cause severe allergic reactions in the skin, so if a rash or unusual symptoms occur, immediately stop taking it and consult a professional. Care should be taken not to exceed 4,000 mg of acetaminophen per day from this medication, and it should not be taken with other medications containing acetaminophen to prevent liver damage.
